College of Chemistry at Beijing Normal University cultivates pedagogical students in chemistry. According to the college's objective, pedagogical students are supposed to serve all ranges of primary and secondary schools in national wide and excel in profession. Summer supporting education is a common option for students to complete the course of social practice and voluntary service. In this paper, with the “HuaYuYingCai” summer supporting education team in Beijing Normal University as an example, many positive effects of summer supporting education were identified. By valuing instructors' guidance, ensuring the practicing time, combining students' self-development with community service, complementing practice with other courses, and integrating knowledge application and learning in practice, summer supporting education could not only serve as a golden experience for chemical pedagogical students, but also lay a certain foundation for their future professional development.
