Application of UV-Curable Paint in Repairing Primer

This paper summarizes the UV curing technology and the progressing of UV curable coatings. Taking the products of BASF company which won the American President Green Chemistry Award in 2005 as an example, this paper introduces the green refinish primer's composition, curing mechanism and influencing factors by comparing with traditional products. At the end of the paper, the outlook on UV-curable paint's usage in green refinish primer field is provided.
