Reactions of C₆₀ with amines(C₆₀ amination reaction) are important methods for the derivatization of C₆₀.In this review,basic principles and characteristics of C₆₀ hydroaminaton are introduced.Recent development on hydroamination of C₆₀ and its application in preparing C₆₀-containing functional polymers,C₆₀-containing self-assembled monolayers,C₆₀-containing organic/inorganic nanoparticles,and C₆₀-based biological materials are also summarized.
