The reduced graphene oxide/graphitic carbon nitride/molybdenum disulfide composites (RGO/g-C₃N₄/MoS₂) were synthesized via the pyrolysis-hydrothermal two-step method. The structures, morphologies and photocatalytic properties of as-prepared composites were characterized by various analytical characterization methods. With the good interface contact and rapid transfer of charge, the composites could enhance the photoelectron-hole separation. The results show that the GCM composites could degradation 97% methylene blue (MB) in 120 min under the irradiation of visible-light and the highest apparent reaction rate constant (k) value was 0.028 09 min^-1. Moreover, the cycle experiments show that the composites had good stability and could maintained 93.2% photocatalytic activity after 5 cycles.
