FeWO₄ microcrystals were fabricated through a simple solution-based route. Then, FeWO₄ samples were annealed under the circumstance of air, with the temperature of 310℃, and the annealing process is firstly studied for its influence on FeWO₄ microcrystals. The FeWO₄ microcrystals, before and after annealing treatment, were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, N₂ adsorption-desorption, TG, IR, and UV-Vis analysis. Annealed FeWO₄ samples show highly active in degradation of rhodamine B (RhB). It reveals that the adsorptive and photocatalytic properties of FeWO₄ microcrystals are probably enhanced through annealing treatment.
