Abstract:
It is found by accelerating tarnish test of cysteine solution that ethylenediamine tetra-methylene phosphoric acid (EDTMP) was an excellent antitarnishing agent for tinplate. The antitarnish mechanism of EDTMP for tinplate has been studied by XPS, AES and laser Raman spectromety. A complicated anticorrosion film was formed on tin surface. The rela-tive atomic percent contents (A. C.%) or the film obtained from the constant element como-sition region of the profile curves were O 48.0%,Sn 10.7%, N7.7%,C 23.1% and P10.5.

Abstract:
A new kind of polymeric electrolyte film with low glass transition temperature and high room temperature conductivity was prepared by plasticizing the complex of poly (ethy-lene oxide-propylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether) and LiClO4 with dimethoxy poly (ethylen eglycol) (PEGDME). The effect of plasticizer content on the conductivity of electrolyte was studied. The plasticized electrolyte films showed both a good thermal stability and a good mechanical property. A room temperature conductivity as high as 2×10-4Scm-1 was obtained for film with 60%(vol) plasticizer. The mclecular weight of the plasticizer as a function of conductity was discussed as well.

Abstract:
An iron-catalyst system FeCl3-Phen-Al(i-Bu)3 for butadiene polymerization has been studied. The results of magnetic susceptibility and UV-Vis spectra measurements indicated that a high-spin complex FeCl3·(EA)2 was formed from FeCl3 and ethyl acetate(EA). The presence of o-phenanthroline(Phen) stabilizes Fe(Ⅱ),markedly reducing the ferromagnetism of the catalyst system.

The molecular structure of necdium containing complex has been determined. It's isomor-phous and isostructural with Sm(C6H6) (AlCl4)3C6H6. The Nd-C and Nd-Cl bond lengths are respectively longer than Sm-C and Sm-Cl bond lengths in corresponding Sm-containingcomplex.

1990, 7(6): 37-42
[Abstract](323) [FullText HTML] [PDF 401KB](0)
Abstract:
in φ-lgi relations steady-state were determined for the O2 evolution on Pt electrode in HClO4 and H2SO4 solutions of concentrations from 0.05-40mol·kg-1. There are three re-gions on the φ-lgi curves. The first is the lower overpotential region with ðφ/ðlgi=2.303 RT/βF (β=0.5), followed by the second potential jump region, and then the third region again with a Tafel slope of approximately to 2.303θRT/βF. The reaction order of O2 evolu-tion with respect to aw was found to be 1 in the first and second regions, while in thethird region the reaction order of O2 evolution with respect to aw·aClO4- or aw·aHSO4- was found to be 1/2. Possible mechanisms for oxygen evolution were proposed. Some of them explain quite satisfactorily the difference in Tafel slope in different region of polarization curves and the various order of reaction with respect to different reactants.

Jin Zuomei , Liu Heng
1990, 7(6): 43-47
[Abstract](351) [FullText HTML] [PDF 500KB](0)
Abstract:
The effects of silver on the chalcopyrite leaching have been studied. No catalytic effect was found when FeCl3 and CuCl2 were used as oxidizing agent. In the case of Fe2(SO4)3 and MnO2 the reaction rate constants were found to be increased 200 times as compared with that without silver additives. In the acidic Fe2(SO3)2 leaching of chalcopyrite the reaction rate is controlled by ion diffussion through the elemental sulfur layer. The apparent activation energy is 35.7 kJ/mol. The order of reaction is 1.5 with respect to silver ion concentration and first order with respect to ferric ion concentration. The rate Constant of the diffusion controlled reaction is inversely propotional to the square root of the initial radius of chalcopyrite particles. The overall reaction kinetics equation has been derived.

Abstract:
The equilibrium constants and coordination numbers for axial reaction of cobalt(Ⅱ) tetrakis (4-trimethylamino phenyl)-porphyrin iodide hydrate (abb. Co(Ⅱ) TMAPPI) with nitrogen containing organic bases were measured by spectral technique. The results show that Co(Ⅱ)TMAPPI forms 1:2 adducts with imidazoline (Im) and benzimidazoline (PhIm),but 1:1 adducts with pyridine(Py) and n-propylaniline (P1NH2). The mechanism of the auxi-liary catalytic effect of nitrogen containing organic bases on the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 with Co(Ⅱ)TMAPPI was discussed.
